Spring Clean Up | City of Paducah

The City of Ventura is celebrating Caltrans' Clean CA Community Days during the week of March 17-25, 2023. Communities across California are hosting community clean-ups to remove litter, beautify public spaces, and educate people on how to keep California clean. 

The public is invited to participate in two community clean-up events in Ventura on March 22 and March 25:

Cornucopia Community Garden Clean-Up

Date: Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - 9:00AM-12:00PM

Location: Cornucopia Community Garden (Telephone Rd. between Johnson Dr. & Ramelli Ave.)

Help beautifying the Cornucopia Community Garden. Tasks include re-mulching pathways, cleaning signage, tables, plots, and benches, hauling green waste, clearing weeds and more. Bring work gloves, shoes, water, and sunscreen. Garden tools will be available on site.

Registration Details & Volunteer Release Agreement (x1)

Promenade Beach Clean-Up with Surfrider Foundation

Date: Saturday, March 25, 2023 - 9:00AM-11:00AM

Location: Ventura Promenade "C" Street (529 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001)

Help remove litter and clean up one of Ventura's most prominent beaches! Work gloves and buckets will be provided. Participants must check in at the blue Surfrider canopy tent located on the Promenade at California Street (next to the Crown Plaza Hotel). Participants must sign liability waivers for the City of Ventura & the Surfrider Foundation before participating.

Note: Please sign both the City's Volunteer Release Agreement AND the Surfrider Volunteer Release Agreement.
