Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world. The U.N. General Assembly has declared Sept. 21 a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace by observing 24 hours of nonviolence and cease-fire.
Join the Center for Global Engagement for a daylong celebration that will include a flag procession throughout campus, Peace Pole rededication near the Rose Garden, prayers and minute of silence near Samuelson Chapel, World Peace Expression in Kingsmen Park and more.
