Ventura County Star issued the following announcement on December 19.
Ventura’s Casa De Soria will make over 1,000 tamales in the days just before Christmas for those who preordered them by the dozen. “It is the season for tamales,” Casa De Soria manager Luis Chavez said. “You can get them any day, but you feel the spirit during Christmas for tamales. It’s a special occasion.”
