West Florida Public Libraries issued the following announcement on November 23.
The Youth Services department at the Pensacola Library, 239 N. Spring Street, is scheduled to reopen to the public on Monday, November 29, 2021. The department has been closed for the past year due to damages from Hurricane Sally. While repairs have not been made, staff have been working to rearrange the department to provide patrons with complete access to the collections. The damaged portion of the department has been blocked off.
