Census Bureau: More women than men in Ventura County in 2019

Of the 847,263 people living in Ventura County in 2019, 50.5 percent (428,152) were women and 49.5 percent (419,111) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Ventura News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 262,182-to-260,666. In the 65 and over age range, there were 70,477 females and 57,151 males.
