Ventura, Calif. – On Friday, January 13, 2023, the winners of the 20th Annual County of Ventura Employee, Retiree, and Family Art Show were announced by the Ventura County Arts Council and the National Arts Program at a special awards reception.
VENTURA, Calif. – The County of Ventura (“County”), the Ventura County Coalition of Labor, Agriculture and Business (CoLAB), and the Ventura County Agricultural Association (VCAA) are pleased to announce the settlement of CoLAB’s and VCAA’s lawsuit challenging the County’s approval of the 2040 Ventura County General Plan (General Plan).
As part of the comprehensive and inclusive process that will guide the national search to identify and appoint the next California State University (CSU) Chancellor, the CSU has finalized the members of the Implementation and Assessment Committees and the schedule for the open forums.
As the California State University enters its 18th consecutive year partnering with more than 100 predominantly African American churches throughout California, I am deeply moved as I remember dozens of conversations I've had with prospective students and their families at our annual CSU Super Sunday event.
Congratulations to Jason Havelka for being named CIT Deputy of the Year and to Lizet Garcia for earning the Susan Luckey Mental Health Professional Award. Havelka and Garcia have made outstanding strides in improving the behavioral health resources in Camarillo.
