On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Rio Mesa High School standout Mariana Palazuelos’ current college team, the UC Riverside Highlanders, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UC Davis Aggies.

The game took place at Stanford Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 1 p.m. at La Rue Field against UC Davis Aggies.
