On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Rio Mesa High School standout Austin DeMello’s current college team, the Colorado Christian Cougars, lost 12-11 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Central Oklahoma Bronchos.

The game took place at Wendell Simmons Field. This was their third matchup against the Bronchos this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at RCB Bank Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
