On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Ventura High School standout Aidan Garza’s current college team, the Chico State Wildcats, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at Nettleton Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Maloney Field against San Francisco State Gators.
