On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Rio Mesa High School standout Luis Luhrs’ current college team, the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the George Fox Bruins.

The game took place at George “Sparky” Anderson Field & Ullman Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Kingsmen’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at George “Sparky” Anderson Field & Ullman Stadium against Caltech Beavers.
