Oxnard College maintained the same in-state tuition fees for the 2022-23 academic year, according to recent data disclosures, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

California residents paid $1,398 to attend the two-year public college in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

For the 2022-23 academic year, non-resident students faced tuition costs 482.7% higher than those for residents, amounting to $8,146. This figure remained unchanged from the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 99% of Oxnard College’s undergraduate students are residents of California.

Data indicates that 93% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Oxnard College in the 2022-23 school year received some form of student financial aid. In total, 533 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $4.4 million.

Across all undergraduate students, 4,111 individuals utilized grants or scholarships totaling $22 million. Additionally, 56 students borrowed $353,157 in federal student loans.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
