The county registered an average of $4.51 per gallon for midgrade gas.
Among 171 gas stations in cities within Ventura County, 97 offered midgrade gas.
Statewide, midgrade gas averaged $4.37 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 3, down from the previous week.
