In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we’re celebrating our students, staff, and faculty that identify as AAPI!
Aaron Sullivan is a senior majoring in Music Education. He is the co-president of CLU Choir, the principal player for the second violins of the University Symphony, a member of the CLU Improv Troupe, and vice president of FILO, CLU Filipino Club. Aaron decided on Cal Lutheran as “the community was nice and the campus was clean.”
When asked about challenges he has faced, Aaron shared “I am the oldest of four siblings, and we are raised by our single mom. I’ve done the best I can so far over the year to help provide for the household and emotionally support my siblings.”
In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing video games, digital illustration, music, and material arts to name a few.
One thing Aaron is proud of is his indie fantasy webcomic series called Darkeye Chronicles. It’s primarily found on Webtoon.
Aaron would like to share that the Improv Shows are every other Thursday in the Preus-Brandt Forum at 11pm, and FILO meets every other Tuesday in the Kingsmen Room at 5pm.
